Quality Linings & fabrication, Inc.
was established October 1, 1988 by Larry P. Shepherd and Hugh L.
White, Jr. to provide custom fabrication and electrical controls.

Larry
P. Shepherd, President
Mr.
Shepherd holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
from the University of Houston, and began his professional career
with Petrolite Corporation in 1959 as a Mechanical Draftsman. Mr.
Shepherd then assumed the

position
of Assistant to the Owner of Tanco, Inc. and was later promoted
to General Manager. Under his leadership, Tanco, Inc. grew from
a one-half million dollar, 10 man operation, to a 10 million dollar,
250 man facility.
In
1985, as a requirement for the acquisition of Tanco, Inc. by the
Petrolite Corporation, Mr. Shepherd began his role as Vice President
and Operations Manager. As Vice-President, Mr. Shepherd was responsible
for manufacturing, marketing and all support groups consisting of
purchasing, personnel, engineering, quality control, quality assurance
and accounting, in addition to the $3 million capital expansion
project.
Mr.
Shepherd brings to his position as President of Quality Linings
& Fabrication, Inc., twenty-five years of extensive experience
and a vast knowledge of every aspect of the fabrication industry.
Hugh
L. White, Jr., Secretary/Treasurer
With
the experience obtained by joining the team at Tanco, Inc. in 1969,
Mr. White's contributions to Quality Linings & Fabrication,
Inc. far exceed the responsibilities of his present role as Secretary/Treasurer.
While
employed at Tanco, Inc., Mr. White took advantage of each opportunity
to acquire hands-on experience in every sheet metal facet of the
fabrication industry. His former training as a welder/fitter and
sheet metal department superintendent, as well as the knowledge
acquired as fabrication foreman and field service manager, when
combined with the experience earned through his position as fabrication
shop superintendent, provide the necessary elements to insure the
success of Mr. White's goals; To produce a top quality product on
a timely basis.
